Workflowy is behind when it comes to features and the Android version lacks some features (backlinks for example using [[ ) The only thing Workflowy has added that Dynalist lacks is the Kanban feature but then again I wouldn't use that for quick notes.
Dynalist's free version offers so many more features and the Android version is similar (and feels faster). I've been using Workflowy and Dynalist interchangeably and can't make up my mind. They offer something similar - the ability to have your note open all the time while you browse so you can instantly add things.īut these days I use Workflowy for ad-hoc notesĬould I please ask you two questions since you are Workflowy user:
I don't know if you've tried the Collections feature in the new Microsoft Edge, or the Note feature in Vivaldi. Being a researcher, academic, productivity writer and tutor this is definitely a priority for me - I mostly use Evernote to take notes during Zoom and PowerPoint presentations, not to mention while doing research online. Apart from OneNote, other note-taking apps have this feature and it works wonders. If you already have it right there next to you it's so convenient to add notes to it - after all users will get a chance to disable the feature if they want. Try watching a presentation or attending a Zoom meeting and having to bring up the minimized note window every time. I am talking about an entirely different thing. The current shortcuts just open a new note or capture as you've said. Alternatively, copy an image to your clipboard, right-click the dragon on your screen, and select ‘Paste’ from the context menu.I'd think that would get in the way rather than be a help - and aren't there already hot key shortcuts to open a new note/ capture what's on screen? TO enable it, right click on the dragon.Ĥ.To pin an image to the top of desktop, simply drag an image & drop it on to the dragon. This is because the “Click Through” option is disabled. You will find that you cannot access any folder or button on the desktop. A transparent dragon will appear on the desktop screen.
The App will be downloaded in the form of a zip folder.Ģ. NOTE clipboard has a restriction on metafile size so long text may not be complete.ġ. ⦁Ĝopied RTF text that also adds a metafile to clipboard, can be pasted into a Screen Dragon making adding text to an image easy using capture. ⦁ Used with screen capture, a Screen Dragon can be added as a logo or watermark or highlight or used to create a collage of images. ⦁Ě Screen Dragon is easily used to thumb through a folder of image files, then open explorer with that file. ⦁ It can be used as an image palette holding multiple images for reference or perhaps to be copied into another application when required. It can also capture images like Windows PrtScn.Ī Screen Dragon can be used as a simple on screen display that is easily re-located and sized to not interfere with other windows. Sceen Dragons is a standalone application with which, you can pin as many images as you want to your desktop. The Screen Dragons application is a small utility app that enables you to pin an app to the top of desktop.
So, is there any pocket-frinedly solution? Yes, you can try the Screen Dragons application. One solution can be the use of a second monitor, but second monitors aren’t cheap. But if you want to Pin an image at the top of your desktop, you will not have much options to choose. There are several applications available for this purpose. When you want to pin Apps at the top of your Desktop, then you have a plethora of options to choose from.
